Scion — Todd Pines is Managing Director of the Scion Group LLC, a single family office he started in 1996 shortly after he and his family sold their food business which was best known for its Hebrew National brand. While at Scion, Todd continued the family entrepreneurial spirit through being a start-up fund operator, as well as a principal investor, representing his family in private investments in both venture capital and later stage private equity. He has a diverse set of experiences across several industries, spanning operations in the family business to a taste of sell-side advisory services at Coopers & Lybrand. Todd holds his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University and an M.B.A. from New York University.
Cat Trail — David Dekker serves as Managing Partner of Cat Trail, a family office which he founded in 2004. Prior to 2004, David was COO of Marcel Dekker, Inc and founder of CrossRoads Media. David currently serves on the advisory committees of Freedom 3, a private credit solutions fund, Alta Community Investments, a real estate development fund, and Cirrus Ventures, a venture debt fund he founded with Todd Pines. David has also served on numerous boards of private companies. David was awarded BS degree in Management Science from the University of Rhode Island and a Master of Business Administration degree from the Executive Management Program at Pace University’s Lubin School of Business. Post graduate work included the Executive Education Program “Mergers and Acquisitions” at Columbia University’s Graduate School of Business.

Solent — TJ Glanfield is the founder and Managing Director of Solent Capital, LLC, a private investment firm that invests in growing private companies via both equity and credit. TJ is also a Founder and Portfolio Manager at Quantix Commodities. Prior to Solent and Quantix, he held the position of Managing Director at Goldman Sachs in both New York City and London. During his 12 year career at Goldman Sachs, TJ held multiple roles including Global Head of Oil Derivatives and Global Head of Investor Swaps Trading. TJ started his Goldman Sachs career in the Commodity Investor Product business with a focus on new product development before moving to the trading side of the business where he ultimately built and restructured several business units. In addition, TJ serves as the Board Chair for Lwala Community Alliance and holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering with minor in Economics from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Sachem Head — Johan Eveland is the Managing Partner for Sachem Head Partners, a family office he founded in 2015. Prior to 2015, Johan was the Global Co-Head of the Fixed Income at Jefferies LLC and also served on the firms Executive Committee. He served as Co-Head of Mortgage and Asset-Backed Securities at Jefferies since 2008. Prior to joining Jefferies, he served as the Managing Director and a Co-Head of Agency & Non-Agency Mortgage Backed Securities Trading at RBS Greenwich Capital. He was a Co-Founder of Alta Residential Mortgage Trust. He also served as Vice President and Portfolio Manager at Washington Mutual. Johan received his Bachelor of Science degree from Babson College.

Michael Stern — Michael has spent 25 years in software development and finance, including work at Los Alamos National Laboratory, portfolio management at hedge funds D. E. Shaw & Co. and HBK Investments, and launching or co-launching two software companies. He is an avid cyclist, a trustee of the United World College-Costa Rica, and a distinguished trustee of United World College-USA. Michael received his A.B. from Harvard College, concentrating in government with a special focus in economics and international relations.
